Since 2005, we have been committed to the development of infection control training resources. Our training DVD series provides valuable training and ongoing education for all staff (clinical and non-clinical) operating in healthcare environments both in Ireland and internationally. By demonstrating the practical application of standard precautions for infection control, these DVDs provide an easy transfer of skills to healthcare staff.
Our DVDs are based on current and best practice guidelines and were developed in cooperation with a range of leading experts and practitioners in the field of infection prevention and control, microbiology and waste management. They are designed to facilitate both tutor-led group training sessions and individualised self-paced learning; provide an easy transfer of skills to staff and are easy to follow. Many (but not all) of our DVDs are accompanied by Support Materials. Current users include those operating in acute settings; primary care; nursing homes; academic institutions; nursing agencies and more.
